PCGamer Sept '03 Feature
6:37:49 PM EST - Eberon
|
There's a 4-question page interview in the September issue of PCGamer. All four questions deal with DX2 and its predecessor's relation to the roleplaying genre. They're quite interesting answers, stuck to Warren Spector to answer. There are four screenshots included, but they're stale. Overall, of course, the issue is a good one, but as far as the article goes, it could be read while standing at a news stand, it's short enough.

A summer of DX love - ZODIAC Pt2 is out!
12:11:49 PM EST - Eberon
|
Word comes in today that Steve Tack's Zodiac project, hot on the trail of Cassandra, has released part 2 of its project. If you recall, we did an interview with Mr. Tack earlier this year regarding Zodiac and his plans for the project. Steve is a well respected member of the community who has taken countless hours to contribute to the furtherance of the community's know-how on DX modding. For that alone (besides the fact that part 1 rocked), you should download it!
Man, if you weren't sure about reinstalling Deus Ex just for Cassandra, you'd better be convinced now.

TNM wants a consistent coder!
12:18:31 PM EST - Eberon
|
Just received this from Trestkon, project lead on The Nameless Mod:
As seems to be the norm for us, we must yet again search the community for a brilliant coder. Preferable, this invdividual would be hex-proof, as it seems someone has placed some sort of a voodoo curse on the TNM coding position (*glares at randomatic) Seriously though, we are seeking a competant coder who will be able to impliment our many cheat codes, hammer out our modified hud and in general made our crazy ideas a reality. If this sounds like you, please email me at Trestkon@planetdeusex.com or drop by our forums
What are you waiting for? Sounds perfect! Grab a shaman and apply now!

New DX Videos.
12:11:37 AM EST - Eberon
|
Well, new to us anyway. A few days ago we got word that there are two new videos hosted at gamershell. You can see them here and here. Admittedly, since I'm short on time these days, I'll have to skip a content review and leave it to you visitors to decide..

A CP Followup; What's next?
12:10:06 AM EST - Eberon
|
A week after the release of the Cassandra Project's first episodial piece, we've received notice that an interview has gone online with jucaushii.ro over the project. The questions specifically engineer themselves to discovering exactly what the future game plan is for the project. It is a must-read for anyone who has a mild interest in the project, since similar information isn't to be found elsewhere.
Don't miss it! It's only a few pages long.

Get Psyched...
7:46:33 PM EST - Eberon
|
Never since Wolfenstein 3D has there been such a great reason to obey that famous command. Well, maybe that's a bit overdramatic..
The good news is that the long-awaited Cassandra Project (preview) has reached fruition. That's right; you can download the little wonder from a choice of five different mirrors posted at the Cassandra website.
The staff (Hi!) of DX-M would like to congratulate the team of the Cassandra Project for their long-term dedication to finishing up what they started out to do.
